Ordovician Fossil Capital of Canada

Bonnechere Museum, also known as the Ordovician Fossil Capital of Canada, presents both the natural and cultural history of life as it developed along the Bonnechere River.

The museum is located at 85 Bonnechere Street, in Eganville, at the junction of Highways 41 and 60. Click on the map below to find an enlarged printable version.

Museum Hours

Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day:
10:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday to Saturday and Mondays of long weekends. 1:00 to 4:00pm Sunday

Labour Day to Victoria Day weekend:
open for special events and tours by appointment.

There is an access ramp and a washroom.

Admission: a suggested donation - adults $3.00; students and children $2.00.

Canada Day, Third Saturday of July, Third Saturday of August, and Saturday of September Rural Ramble.
